This body of experimental fiber works began during the pandemic, when stitching became a way to anchor myself while teaching online and spending time in nature. The early embroideries connected the meditative rhythm of handwork with the immersive experience of being engulfed by the landscape. More recent works expand this exploration through felted forms of the female body, particularly breasts, deepening my ongoing investigation of the body’s connection to the natural world. Across stitching and felting, these pieces embrace tactility, slowness, and embodiment as ways of entering into dialogue with both the self and the environment.
